Reservation and Ticketing procedures
All our offices are equipped with Amadeus, and some of our offices are also equipped with Worldspan and Galileo & Sabre (in Benghazi) allowing us to quote best prices possible on all systems.
Hereunder pls find our booking procedures:
- An email (or telecom) will be sent to a dedicated account manager, with
- your travel request to our reservations department.
- Your dedicated account manager will in turn email you flight confirmation
- (within 90 minutes) based on the lowest fare and most direct routing available together with price and time limit.
- Should the flights requested not be available, additional options will be
- given to you, together with prices and time limits.
- Once a ticket is requested, our office will issue ticket, which will be
- delivered to your offices accordingly.
- An email with invoice will follow.
- All waitlisted passengers are checked on a regular basis, and an email with confirmation as soon as received will be sent to you accordingly.
- Due to us being one of the largest Travel Management Companies locally and the excellent relationship we hold with major airlines, we are offered special priority on waitlists, which will benefit all our clients.
- In the meantime you can check all waitlist bookings online through our portal www.checkmytrip.com
- Due to new eticketing (ticketless) procedures, we are also capable of sending air tickets worldwide via email.
Hotel Benefits
Due our company also having a Tour Operating Department, all clients benefit from discounted negotiated rates in Major hotel chains in cities all over the world. Some systems we hold inhouse include Hotelbeds, GTA, Needahotel and Tourico Holiday Flights amongst others. Our Tour Operating department also wholesales to major Travel agents locally.
Travel Information & Advisories to Client
Our offices are also equipped with TIM (online Travel Information Manuals) where we have access to current visa requirements, together with worldwide travel information which will be given to you upon request.
We suggest that Nationality of passengers should be given to us when requesting a booking, this way we will be able to check visa requirements accordingly.
We also recommend that we are given contact details of all clients traveling in order to be able to advise of any delays, airport closures etc. (A mobile number is adequate)
Regular Travel Schedules will be sent to your offices by the various airlines that operate from Malta.
We will also provide you with online sites to enable you to check anytime the status of any reservations for any of your clients, included ticketed and partially traveled. One example is www.checkmytrip.com , where all our reservations data is kept.
All information provided to us will be treated in confidentiality as we do with all our major clients.
Visa Assistance
Depending on the clients destination, your dedicated account manager will advise you of what documentation is required, together with application format. This in turn will be passed on to our inhouse visa handling department who will contact you and advise procedure.
Qualifications
All our personnel are fluent in English, and in Tripoli/Benghazi both Arabic and English, and have IATA diplomas for ticketing and Reservations.
